*We caught up with the cast of the hilarious comedy series “South Side,” to speak about the third season which kicked off on HBO Max on Dec. 8.
The eight-episode season will drop two new episodes each week, concluding on December 29.
Created by Bashir Salahuddin, Diallo Riddle and Sultan Salahuddin, “South Side” centers on “two enterprising best friends, Simon (Sultan) and K (Kareme Young), as they hustle and dream their way through the Windy City – when they’re not too busy working as furniture repo men at the local Rent-T-Own,” per the official synopsis.
Bashi, Diallo and Sultan alongside Chandra Russell who portrays cunning Sergeant Turner, as well as an ever-expanding roster of real-life Chicago residents. “South Side” offers a glimpse of the lighter side of life in America’s second city.

Riddle and Michael Blieden serve as executive producers on “South Side,” along with Tony Hernandez for JAX Media. Bola Fapohunda, Kristyn Deignan and Tara Power are producers for MTV Entertainment Studios. John Skidmore and Sultan Salahuddin are also producers on the show.
