*Houston, we have a problem. Repeat … Houston, we have a problem. Yep, it’s like that for Dr. Dre and his wife of 24 years. They are ending their marriage because she has filed for divorce.
Things appear to be moving fast. This morning, Nicole Young filed the paperwork citing the usual irreconcilable differences as the reason for her split from the hip-hop mogul, reports TMZ.
Dr. Dre (Andre Young) and Nicole got hitched back in 1996 on May 25. They have 2 adult children together: a son named Truice and a daughter named Truly so it looks like child support won’t be an issue.
Sources connected to Nicole say there is no prenup. Dre’s net worth, according to Forbes, is estimated at $800 million.

Before she married Dre, she was married to Sedale Threatt, an ex-NBA player with the Lakers. Nicole Young, by the way, is an attorney and is represented in the divorce by high-powered celeb attorney, Samantha Spector.
