DaBaby Hit with Lawsuit by Woman He Slapped During Club Appearance [VIDEO]

Dababy

*DaBaby is facing a lawsuit over an alleged slapping incident with a woman at a recent Tampa concert.

We previously reported… the bad boy rapper was caught on video making his way through a crowded club and smacking a woman after she held her phone close to his face with the flashlight on.

He later headed to social media (IG Live) where he issued an apology to the woman he claims hit him with her mobile phone.

“I do sincerely apologize. I do,” DaBaby said in a video on his Instagram Story. “I’m very sorry that there was a female on the other end of that flashlight on that phone. But you know, keep in mind, I couldn’t see you because you got the flash this close to me. Which is okay, it’s no problem. A lot of people did — they didn’t put it as close as you put it — but a lot of people had flash on me, and that’s okay. … But out of all them fans—how many people know how to zoom in? Just zoom in instead of popping me in the motherf*cking eye with the phone.”

The woman he slapped, however, ain’t buying his act of sorrow. So now she’s suing him.

TMZ reports that Tyronesha Laws filed the lawsuit this week, claiming that the rapper “suddenly and without warning” attacked her. She previously denied putting her phone in his face, insisting she was standing next to the person who did.

Laws doesn’t think DaBaby’s apology is sincere since he later filmed a comedy sketch making light of the incident.

“Our goal is to deter similar conduct in the future and send a message that this type of behavior is not tolerated in America,” her attorneys Matt Morgan and Chelsea Cromer said.

Thru his attorney, DaBaby claims he hit someone else, not Laws.

She is suing for battery, intentional infliction of emotional distress, and other damages.
