parasite wins best picture

*Director Bong Joon Ho’s black comedy “Parasite” made history Sunday night at the 92nd Academy Awards when it became the first foreign-language film to win best picture.

The South Korean pic also won in the international feature film, director and original screenplay categories, losing only in two categories: film editing and production design.

Meanwhile, Taika Waititi nabbed best adapted screenplay for “Jojo Rabbit, and as we previously reported, ex-NFL wide receiver Matthew A. Cherry took the award for best animated short for his “Hair Love” project.
