*Fox News host Jesse Watters, like everybody else there is totally clueless … especially when it comes to telling the difference between black people. In this case, CBS’ Gayle King and ABC’s Robin Roberts.
Yes, they are both light-skinned black women, but that’s it. And what does King have to say about it? What you would expect and what she should have: “All black people do not look alike.”
The super faux pas went down Wednesday during the Fox news show “The Five” in which Watters praised King’s R. Kelly interview and described the singer as “acting like a child, throwing a tantrum and acting like he was the victim.”
“Hats off to Gayle King for totally redeeming herself after the (Jussie) Smollett fiasco,” Watters concluded his remarks.
Only problem is, that wasn’t King who interviewed Smollett. It was Roberts. Duh!!

As we all know, Roberts caught a lot of flack following her “Good Morning America” interview with Smollett about the now discredited attack against him in February. He ended up being arrested for filing a false police report. Authorities concluded it was a hoax he cooked up to promote his career.
But as far as King is concerned,she’s being showered with nothing but praise for keeping cool while R. Kelly commenced to act a complete fool, screaming and crying during her “CBS This Morning” interview with about his alleged sexual abuse, which he vehemently denied.
Watters’ Fox News associate, Dana Perino stepped in to correct him, saying: “That was not Gayle King. Robin Roberts did the Smollett interview.”
“I knew that,” Watters responded, before covering his head in embarrassment. “Sorry for Robin Roberts out there. … I apologize.”

Well, as they say, it’ was caught on video and will live forever. In any event, King couldn’t resist sticking it to Watters and Fox on Thursday when she appeared on “The Late Show With Stephen Colbert.”

“I emailed Dana, who I don’t know, and I said, ‘Hi, just wanted to thank you for letting your colleague know that … we are two different people,” she shared with Colbert and his audience. “And could you let the rest of your colleagues know that all black people do not look alike. Could you please just share that?’ Yes I did.”
