*R. Kelly survivors Lisa Van Allen, Kitti Jones and Asante McGee dished with Us Weekly at Variety’s Power of Women event in New York City earlier this month and they didn’t hold back about the consequences they hope the disgraced singer faces as his sexual abuse case intensifies.
“He’s not a good person. I’ve always said that [he] is the Devil,” McGee exclusively told Us Weekly. Jones noted that she wants Kelly, 52, “to be accountable in the court of law because he has broken the law.”
All three women shared their stories in Lifetime’s six-part documentary “Surviving R. Kelly.”
Kelly was arrested in February on 10 counts of aggravated sexual abuse. The charges came after embattled attorney Michael Avenatti reportedly handed over footage to authorities of the R&B hitmaker allegedly having sex with a minor. Kellz has pleaded not guilty to all charges.

As you know, the Grammy-winning artist previously faced child pornography charges but was found not guilty in 2008.
He also came under fire in 1994 after marrying late singer Aaliyah when she was only 15.
“He has violated people, he has hurt people and there is stuff on tape that you can’t deny. I don’t think he’ll ever own up to what he has done, but that’ll certainly help. And get some therapy,” said Jones.
When R. Kelly addressed the allegations in an interview with Gayle King on March 5, he insisted that the “rumors” and allegations against him are “not true.”
Van Allen admits she “was surprised” he agreed to speak out “because usually your publicist would advise you not to when you’re lying, because you can definitely put yourself in a bad situation. I think a few things that he said were pretty incriminating.”
Kelly remains out on bond. His next court hearing is set for May 7.
