Mariah Carey Releases ‘All I Want For Christmas is You’ Featuring Tyler Perry & Other Stars – WATCH

*Mariah Carey knows what you want for Christmas even if you don’t. Yep, she’s got you covered with a star-studded music video for “All I Want For Christmas is You.”

25 years after it was first released in 1994, Carey is celebrating the song’s 25th anniversary with a video of celebrities lip-syncing the song.

First, we have Tyler Perry in his Madea voice, at a piano wreaking havoc then comes Ryan Reynolds, James Corden and a whole bunch of other famous faces lip-syncing the song. The new music video ends with Carey’s 8-year-old twins, Moroccan and Monroe, dancing.

Carey shared the video in a tweet thanking her celebrity friends for participating.

“WOW! This is one of the best Christmas gifts I could ever have gotten. I am so thankful to all of my friends and favorite artists who participated in this video,” the Grammy-award winning artist wrote. “You brought a huge smile to my face. THANK YOU!”

If you missed the news, just last week, Carey’s “All I Want For Christmas is You” reached the No. 1 spot on Billboard’s Hot 100 for the first time.

It’s only the second Christmas song to reach the top spot, joining The Chipmunks’ “The Chipmunk Song” (with David Seville), which ruled for four weeks in 1958-59, says Billboard.

Here’s more via USA Today:

Carey’s holiday song has been a cultural favorite for years but achieved chart success only in recent years. It first entered the Top 10 songs in 2017 and reached its previous high of No. 3 last year.

This is Carey’s 19th No. 1 song on the Hot 100, extending her record for the most among soloists, according to Billboard.

Speaking with USA TODAY last month, Carey reflected on her song reaching 25 years of air time.

“It’s so funny, somebody was just asking me, ‘What were you doing 25 Christmases ago?’ ” Carey, 49, said. “I would probably say somebody was giving me a bottle and they were singing me a sweet lullaby Christmas tune. Because I was just 1 year old, so I don’t know!

“It’s very much like I live in the land of the Tooth Fairy and Santa Claus,” she said wryly. “I don’t acknowledge time, I don’t know what it is. I rebuke it!”
