‘GMA’ Shelved Intvs. with R. Kelly Accusers Over of Lack of Corroborating Evidence

*We’ve learned that several alleged victims of R. Kelly had sit down interviews with “Good Morning America” about what supposedly happened to them at the hands of the singer, but nothing came of it.

The reason their sessions for  “GMA” weren’t aired is because producers at the show didn’t like what they heard. Or more to the point, they could corroborate what the women said about Kelly.

Does that make you go, hmmmm?

Sources say the women taped several sessions over the past few months and spoke freely about being abused by the “Bump and Grind” singer.

The interviews were done and were ready to air.  However, “GMA” producers grew concerned that what they had on their hands was mostly a “he said/she said” kind of thing, reports The Blast.

Sources say “GMA” was unable to confirm the majority of the details the women provided and the show did not feel comfortable running the package without any.

As a result, the interviews never ran and the girls then spoke to Lifetime several months later.

Speaking of which. Lifetime’s ratings monster, “Surviving R. Kelly” has kicked up the conversation once again regarding the controversial singer and the many accusations of sexual abuse. It includes interviews with musicians, family members and former entourage members speaking out against Kelly, and also addresses his relationship with the late-singerAaliyah.

Kelly is denying the allegations and threatened to sue Lifetime for airing the docu-series.

Again, now that you know this, does it make you wanna go, hmmmm?
