‘Pain and Purpose’ By William ‘King’ Hollis is Motivational Magic – VIDEO

*Seven years ago international motivational speaker, William “King” Hollis, an aspiring NFL player, put a 45 caliber handgun to his temple and considered taking his own life. He had endured a lot of pain and adversity by the age of 23, having lost his mother to a heroin overdose and his father to many years in prison.

Now, however, he sees the world through a completely different set of eyes. Currently possessing his own brand, William Hollis Motivation, he has amassed millions of views on YouTube, traveled the world to places like Milan, Italy and Sydney, Australia, and garnered praise from some of the world’s top speakers and influencers including Les Brown, Gary Vee, Grant Cardone, Ne-Yo, DC Young Fly and late rapper and entrepreneur Nipsey Hussle.  On November 7th, he released a one-of-a-kind album, “Pain and Purpose.”

Hollis is the rose that grew from concrete. A product of the projects in Pontiac, Michigan, he is an undeniable force that people from all over the globe and from all different backgrounds and age groups tune into for the strength to push harder and to overcome self-limiting beliefs.

“I’m from the slums, I’m not even supposed to be here by most peoples accounts,” Hollis said. “I couldn’t read until I was 16 years old and now I am an international motivational speaker making $20,000 a speech. This album is an album everyone needs to listen to. It’s not Hip Hop, it’s not music. It’s proven, great mental development. I put my life into this album.”

“Pain and Purpose”  is a 59-minute album with nine tracks. It covers an array of topics and messages, from identifying and channeling your gift, ignoring doubters, seizing the moment, and turning pain and adversity into purpose and testimony. It is a project that will make listeners want to find the highest mountain and climb, or turn the self-pitying excuse maker into a goal hunting beast.  Hollis says his favorite speech is the final one, entitled, “You Will Call Me King.”  It is his personal declaration to the world, but one that every man should make his own.

“I talk about a line in that speech where people were basically telling me what I couldn’t be. I go back to the days I was looked at as trash, called a dumb n***a and told I was a piece of crap,” he recalls. “To make it through all that pain and to stand on all the stages I am standing on now and to scream to all the haters and the doubters is [what that speech is about]. It says, you might have called me many things, but before you die, you will call me “King.”

As the year 2020 approaches, Hollis already has significant business moves lined up. He has solidified partnerships with major motivational brands like Fearless Motivation, Vybo and Motiversity. He will be collaborating with music artists and sports teams, launching an apparel line, and of course, speaking and empowering audiences worldwide.

Since he recorded his first speech on his cell phone back in 2012, Hollis set the goal of being the world’s greatest motivational speaker. He has only gotten firmer on his stance – and if one were to place a bet on a speaker to accomplish that feat, it would be wise to place their bet on him.

“Pain and Purpose” is available now on all digital platforms, including Apple Music, Amazon Music and Spotify. Purchase here: https://music.apple.com/us/album/pain-and-purpose/1486054596.
