*On Monday, February 5, the hosts of “The Real” recap the big game, especially Pink’s performance of the National Anthem and Justin Timberlake’s halftime show.

The ladies also wish Kylie Jenner and Travis Scott congratulations on the birth of their daughter and for managing to keep the entire pregnancy private.

Later, co-host Adrienne Houghton laments that celebrities should be able to have “food babies” and not have to worry that fans will think they are pregnant.

Angela Rye’s Big Decision to Freeze Her Eggs

Angela Rye: The day before the Women’s March, I froze my eggs…

Tamera Mowry-Housley: Oooh!

Angela: Yes! I did! I’m 38, I’m old, just don’t let the silky hair fool you. So, 38, it was just time. It was a process I looked into when I was 35 and I got scared because my egg reserve number was low –

Jeannie Mai: Ok.

Angela: And so they were telling me that I’d have to go through multiple cycles which was expensive and I just got scared. And so now I’m like, “Uhhh… what do I have to lose?” You know. So I really wanted to go and do that, and I recorded a lot of the footage, and I’m hoping that I’ll use it to inspire women because it was scary – I hate needles, so I had somebody come do the shots…

Jeannie: Yeah!

Angela: The devil! So I was like, “Somebody’s going to have to come do this for me!” But it was a really emotional experience, I didn’t cry a lot, but I felt so connected with my body, trying to create an environment where there weren’t going to be stressed out eggs. Somebody that’s like a big sister to me was like, “Don’t have stressed out eggs!”

Adrienne Houghton: Yeah, it’s true!

Angela: So I was like spa music every night – I’m still listening to spa music every night before I go to sleep – it’s dope! It’s amazing!

Adrienne: I love it!

Angela: Yes! Yes yes, so it’s good.

Loni Love: You want to be a mother someday?

Angela: You know, Loni, as I get older, I’m a little more nervous about that! I have six godkids.

Loni: Uh-huh.

Tamera: Ok.

Angela: But I definitely want the option, I don’t want to foreclose on an option.

Adrienne: Yes.

Loni: Right.

Jeannie: That is good, that is great.

Loni: Be prepared.

Adrienne: And it’s awesome to be able to share that with a lot of people out there.
