Enter the Era of ‘King Hollis’: This Generation’s Most Powerful Motivational Force (VIDEO)

*There are very few figures outside of the music or sports world who have the ability to capture both the minds and hearts of today’s youth. Not to mention, the minds and hearts of youth across the world. However, one young man by the name of William “King” Hollis has become a force that no one saw coming, but that everyone must pay attention to.
With more than 60 million views on YouTube and counting, the 28 year-old international speaker from Pontiac, Michigan travels the world to speak at schools, empowerment conferences, churches and for professional, collegiate and high school sports teams.  His fan-base spans from Los Angeles to Australia and the amazing thing is….he is just beginning.
He has the number one football motivational speech online, surpassing the epic “Any Given Sunday” speech by actor Al Pacino. NFL and college stars frequent his inbox, thanking him for providing the fuel to propel them through grueling workouts and inspiring them to excellence. His very first speech, “Young King,” has more than one million views and he was the first ever motivational speaker to headline a major fashion show in Milan, Italy, doing so at the launch of Plein Sports by designer Phillipp Plein.
Hollis is a rising star, already en-route to joining the upper echelon of speakers like Tony Robbins, Eric “E.T.” Thomas and Les Brown. His thunderous voice commands attention and his often un-written, free-styled speeches are reminiscent of the talent possessed by rapper Jay-Z behind the mic.

“I will be the greatest motivational speaker in the world,” Hollis says. If his current trajectory is any indication, he may be right.

Hollis speaks to the core of the downtrodden, the depressed and the struggling visionaries seeking to rise above their circumstances. It is a gift, and one that comes easily to him, because he is speaking to himself.  He was the kid from the projects, destined for a life of drug dealing and crime. He couldn’t read until the age of 16. His father is incarcerated and his mother deceased due to a heroin overdose.

A former top NFL prospect in 2011 whose professional aspirations were derailed by injury and various family hardships, he fell into a deep depression and considered ending his life with a 45 caliber pistol. A chance visit to volunteer at a school launched his speaking career and ultimately saved his life.
“I am talking to the man that no longer wants to live. I am talking to the man who was told he could never be anything. The ordinary man that was told he was too fat or too ugly, he didn’t have what it takes, or he wasn’t fast or smart enough,” Hollis said. “I am talking to the people who are on the edge, right there on that cliff of death 2,000 feet in the air. I have 20-35 minutes to talk them off of this ledge or I am going to lose them. I see the pain in individuals who try to hide it. I see the desperation. I tell the people what I’d want to hear from myself if I didn’t want to give up. I remind people of the greatness that lies inside of them.”
Hollis has some major projects underway, in addition to numerous speaking engagements in the United States and abroad during 2018. His plan is to inspire an entire generation and cement a historic legacy in the process.
