*Former NBA player Glen “Big Baby” Davis is facing a lawsuit from a woman who claims he sabotaged multiple business ventures.
Dr. Lyndsey White is suing Davis, accusing him of derailing her entrepreneurial investments and failing to repay debts. According to TMZ, White claims she partnered with Davis in 2021 to launch a BBQ sauce brand (“Big Baby Q” BBQ sauce) and later loaned him $30,000 for a cannabis business. She alleges that Davis introduced her to Chris Brown, who asked her to develop a fragrance line, but after Davis’s 2021 arrest for defrauding the NBA’s health plan, their relationship soured.
White says Davis became threatening, leading her to cut ties with Brown, losing a significant business opportunity. Additionally, she accuses Davis of misusing the $30,000 for legal fees, profiting from the BBQ sauce without compensating her, and breaching their agreements. He ultimately sold the BBQ sauce she created for him, never paying her for her contribution, according to the filing.
In her suit, White noted that Davis turned aggressive — “causing her to fear for her life.” The lawsuit claims breach of contract and intentional misrepresentation. White is asking for unspecified damages.
Davis played in the NBA from 2007 to 2015. Since his 2021 arrest on fraud charges, he has been serving a 40-month sentence at FPC Duluth in Minnesota.
