*Amazon MGM Studios has released a new trailer for Zoë Kravitz’s directorial debut, “Blink Twice,” which was initially titled “Pu**y Island.”
We reported earlier that Kravitz’s fiancee, Channing Tatum, leads the cast, portraying billionaire tech mogul Slater King, who invites friends to a mysterious private island. The film also stars Naomi Ackie, Christian Slater, Simon Rex, Adria Arjona, Kyle MacLachlan, Haley Joel Osment, with Geena Davis and Alia Shawkat.
Here’s the synopsis: When tech billionaire Slater King (Channing Tatum) meets cocktail waitress Frida (Naomi Ackie) at his fundraising gala, sparks fly. He invites her to join him and his friends on a dream vacation on his private island. It’s paradise. Wild nights blend into sun soaked days and everyone’s having a great time. No one wants this trip to end, but as strange things start to happen, Frida begins to question her reality. There is something wrong with this place. She’ll have to uncover the truth if she wants to make it out of this party alive.

Channing said he went to a “dark place” for this role.
“It’s the first time I’ve ever played anyone [like this],” the actor said in an exclusive interview with Total Film
“Every character I play, I usually have some sort of love for or a connection to. I don’t think I’ll ever tell anybody what I had to create inside my head to play this person… He’s a psychopath,” he added.

Ahead of its theatrical release, Amazon MGM Studios shared a featurette that sees Tatum, Ackie, and Kravitz discuss the upcoming thriller. Watch what they had to say in the YouTube clip below.
