*Shedrack Anderson III may be best known to many audiences for his acting career, but the former child star is continuing to build a parallel path in music with the release of his latest album, “Let It Fall.”
The 10-track project arrived May 20 and is now available on major streaming platforms worldwide. Blending contemporary R&B with jazz-inspired arrangements and soulful melodies, the album explores themes of personal growth, emotional healing, self-worth, and renewal.
For Anderson, whose entertainment career spans film, television, music, directing, and education, the release marks his third official studio album and another chapter in a creative journey that has stretched across decades.
A Musical Evolution
According to promotional materials released in support of the project, “Let It Fall” was designed as a soundtrack for everyday life, whether listeners are taking a late-night drive, focusing on creative work, exercising, or simply reflecting.
The album combines smooth vocals with rich instrumentation and cinematic textures throughout tracks including “Let It Fall,” “Night Drive,” “Midnight Moan,” and “Somebody Loves Me.”
While rooted in R&B, the project also incorporates elements of jazz soul, allowing Anderson to showcase both his musical influences and his growth as a songwriter.
The release follows his previous albums “Hamilton Park” and “Enigmology,” projects that similarly explored personal storytelling through a blend of soul, hip-hop, jazz, classical, and contemporary production styles.

From Child Actor To Multi-Hyphenate Creative
Long before releasing albums, Anderson established himself as a recognizable face in film and television.
He first appeared as one of the Lost Boys in Steven Spielberg’s “Hook” before gaining wider recognition as Jermaine Green on NBC’s “Just Deal.” He later starred as Rudy in the family comedy “Fat Albert.”
His acting résumé also includes appearances in “Boston Public,” “The Parkers,” “The Division,” and Disney’s “Phil of the Future.”
Beyond performing in front of the camera, Anderson has expanded his creative work into directing and producing. He wrote and directed the feature film “Blood River” and has remained active in multiple areas of entertainment.
Juilliard Training And Artistic Range
A graduate of The Juilliard School, Anderson studied theater, dance, and music while developing the multidisciplinary approach that has become a hallmark of his career.
His professional experience includes work with respected dance organizations such as Ballet Hispanico and Los Angeles Ballet, further reflecting the range of his artistic background.
In addition to acting and music, Anderson has worked as a producer, choreographer, educator, entrepreneur, and wellness advocate.
What’s Next
Anderson is currently developing a music video for the album’s title track, “Let It Fall,” with a release planned for later this summer. He has also completed work on a feature film project and is preparing for another production.
As he continues balancing music, film, and entrepreneurship, “Let It Fall” serves as his latest creative statement—one that reflects both his artistic versatility and his commitment to storytelling across multiple mediums. Sample tracks from “Let It Fall” here.
