*The last ride through Chicago’s underworld is finally here as “Power Book IV: Force” enters its action-packed final season on STARZ.
With Tommy Egan (Joseph Sikora) pushing harder than ever to seize control, the city’s criminal ecosystem is stretched to the breaking point, forcing every player to decide what survival really looks like. Adrienne Walker describes her character Shanti as someone who refuses to slow down, especially now that the stakes have never been higher.
“They are grabbing at everything they can grasp to get to the top,” she said of the power dynamic this season. “It’s do or die,” Walker added. “As far as Shanti’s mentality, they must win. There is no other option.”
Kris D. Lofton says his character Jenard enters the season juggling pressure from every direction as he tries to reclaim his footing. “Jenard is trying to navigate Chicago and just be back on top. He’s battling with addiction. He’s battling with, I owe the plug. I owe the connect. I owe this person. I owe that person. He’s just trying to find his footing and balance that balance. And now work-life balance, because he has a significant other. He’s navigating them streets in love and life. We get to see him truly find that happy medium of making it all work and mesh together.”

With the season circling themes of loyalty, betrayal, and survival, Lofton points to where the emotional hits will land hardest for Jenard. “I’m going to say loyalty and betrayal. I feel like this season of Force, it is going to truly turn enemies into friends and friends into enemies. And I think the writers, our writers, our producers, our writers room is insane. This season all our producers… What they did with this season, unmatched. It’s really unmatched what we did.”
Walker hopes that viewers see Shanti’s quest for dominance as something deeper than ruthlessness. “I hope that they can recognize that Shanti’s need for control is not just coldness. It’s her survival. That’s what she knows. That’s how she moves. She doesn’t know anything else.” And while she won’t reveal where Shanti lands in the final episode, she offers one clear promise: “I think everyone will be deeply surprised.”
Lofton hints that Jenard’s fate will also send ripple effects through the fandom. When asked if viewers should expect shocks, he keeps it simple: “… to say the least, without any spoilers, shocked, awe, or some people might be happy.”
As Tommy, Diamond, Jenard, Shanti, and every rival faction close in on their final moves, the last season of “Power Book IV: Force” sets the board for a chaotic finish. Chicago’s crown has never been heavier, and the fight to claim it is about to hit its most volatile point yet.
