*The final trailer for the next chapter in the magic-heist franchise has arrived, setting the stage for what promises to be a larger, more global caper. Ruben Fleischer directs the film, which Lionsgate will release in U.S. theaters on November 14, 2025. The new footage ramps up the stakes and spectacle as the franchise returns to its signature mix of misdirection and large-scale set pieces.
Jesse Eisenberg, Woody Harrelson, Dave Franco, and Isla Fisher return as the Four Horsemen and are joined by Justice Smith, Dominic Sessa, and Ariana Greenblatt as a fresh generation of illusionists. Their mark is Rosamund Pike’s Veronika Vanderberg, described in studio copy as “a powerful diamond heiress with ties to arms dealers, traffickers, and warlords.” Morgan Freeman also reprises his role as the enigmatic Thaddeus, linking the cast back to the saga’s roots.

At the heart of the story is the uneasy alliance between the two groups of magicians, who must set aside differences to outwit a cunning opponent. Studio notes promise “a magic-fueled heist filled with the franchise’s signature twists, turns, and thrilling reveals — along with some of the most thrilling illusions ever captured on film.” The trailer highlights the film’s emphasis on grand-scale illusions and intergenerational rivalry.
Behind the camera, Fleischer — whose credits include “Venom,” “Uncharted,” and “Zombieland” — steers the third installment. The screenplay is credited to Seth Grahame-Smith, Michael Lesslie, and Paul Wernick & Rhett Reese, from a story by Eric Warren Singer; Alex Kurtzman, Roberto Orci, and Bobby Cohen serve as producers. The project is built on characters created by Boaz Yakin and Edward Ricourt and presented by Lionsgate as a Cohen Pictures production.
“Now You See Me: Now You Don’t” continues the continuity established by “Now You See Me” (2013) and “Now You See Me 2” (2016). With a sequel reportedly already in development, the franchise appears poised to keep blending large-scale illusion with twists and cinematic spectacle beyond this installment.
