*Comedian Mike Epps agrees with Odell Beckham Jr.’s recent remarks about how a $100 million contract doesn’t last a lifetime, saying it’s “real easy” to blow through such sums.
Speaking to TMZ, Epps said, “Sometimes, you can’t measure lifestyle with money,” he explained.
He noted that when lifestyle choices and spending habits are not carefully controlled, even vast earnings can dwindle quickly. “… you gotta make sure that you control the lifestyle, and then your money will be controlled with it,” he added.

“The things that you’re interested in, can cost you. If you’re interested in looking good all the time, clothes, and into the hip-hop world, it’s gonna cost to be interested in that,” Epps said.
During a recent appearance on The Pivot, Beckham noted that a five-year, $100 million contract actually nets around $60 million after taxes, agent fees, and other expenses. “That’s 12 million a year you have to spend, use, save, invest, flaunt, whatever,” he said, underscoring the difficulty of sustaining that income over time.
Beckham later clarified his statements on X, claiming they had been taken “completely outta context.”
“Boy u can’t say nothin in this world nowadays… People love to take Shxt completely outta context to rationalize a statement in their own head that makes sense to them… what a world,” he wrote.
