*LeBron James is setting the stage for business elevation amid talks between his SpringHill Company and Fulwell 73, a British film, TV, and music company, to merge.
Referencing “an individual familiar with the discussions,” The Wrap reports that although ongoing talks have been in effect for months, they could fall apart.
At this time, no financial terms have been discussed, nor have either company commented on the situation.
If the talks prove successful, the merge would allow SpringHill and Fulwell to expand their roster of unscripted and live programming, as well as combine resources across Europe and the U.S.
Founded in 2020 by James and Maverick Carter, the SpringHill Company is an entertainment development and production company comprised of SpringHill Entertainment, a production company founded in 2007; marketing agency and consulting firm Robot Company; and digital media brand Uninterrupted. Investors include RedBird Capital, Fenway Sports Group, and Epic Games.

Ventures under its banner include Warner Bros. Pictures’ “Space Jam: A New Legacy” and “House Party” and Netflix’s “Hustle” and “Self Made: Inspired by the Life of Madam C.J. Walker” as well as Peacock’s “Shooting Stars,” Paramount+’s “Fantasy Football,” HBO’s “The Shop” and the CNN documentary “Dreamland: The Burning of Black Wall Street.”
Fulwell 73, founded in 2005 by partners Ben Winston, Leo Pearlman, Ben Turner and Gabe Turner, with James Corden emerging as a fifth partner in 2017, has a slew of film and television projects under its belt.
Among its roster of projects are The Grammy Awards, Amazon’s retelling of “Cinderella,” starring Camila Cabello, “Carpool Karaoke The Series,” Nickelodeon’s “Real Pigeons Fight Crime,” “The Late Late Show With James Corden” Lionsgate’s “In the Hands of God,” and “The Kardashians,” in addition to the CBS special “Adele: One Night Only,” Universal Pictures’ football documentary “The Class of ’92,” Disney+’s “Among the Stars,” Sony Pictures’ “One Direction 3D: This Is Us,” Netflix’s “Sex Unzipped” hosted by Saweetie Universal Pictures’ Usain Bolt documentary “I Am Bolt.”
