*The hit biblical drama “House of David” is back for a second season, premiering exclusively on Prime Video on Sunday, October 5. The season will launch with a special two-episode premiere, followed by weekly episodes every Sunday, beginning with Episode 3 on October 12.
From acclaimed filmmakers Jon Erwin and Jon Gunn, the series stars Michael Iskander as David and features Ali Suliman (“Jack Ryan,” “Arthur the King”), Ayelet Zurer (“Angels and Demons,” “Man of Steel”), Stephen Lang (“Avatar: The Way of Water,” “Don’t Breathe”), Indy Lewis (“Industry,” “King and Conqueror”), and more.

“House of David” chronicles the ascent of the biblical figure David, who ultimately becomes Israel’s most celebrated king. Season one reached over 44 million viewers worldwide, ranking in the top 10 new series debuts in the U.S. and claiming the #1 spot on Prime Video.
Season two picks up in the aftermath of David’s legendary battle with Goliath, exploring his rise from shepherd to warrior during the transformative Age of Iron. As Israel faces political turmoil under Saul’s weakening reign, families fracture, forbidden romances emerge, and alliances shift. “Faith and power collide in a struggle that will decide Israel’s future.”
