She criticized people who assume the wealthy can easily replace their homes, highlighting the emotional toll of losing everything one has worked hard for. Several celebrities, including Jeff Bridges, Anthony Hopkins, Paris Hilton, and Mel Gibson, have shared heartbreaking updates about losing their homes in the wildfires. The wildfires have caused significant damage and loss of life, with damages projected to exceed $50 billion.
“I wanna tell the ignorant people something … it doesn’t matter how much money you have,” Reginae wrote on X (formally Twitter), adding, “don’t nobody wanna see everything they worked so hard for .. in Ashes ! Like wtf is wrong with yall telling fortunate people to “just buy a new house” like huh? Yall are weird,” the actress and reality star continued.

“I was doing the Rogan podcast and I was kind of ill at ease while we were talking because I knew my neighborhood was on fire. So I thought, I wonder if my place is still there. When I got home, sure enough, it wasn’t there,” Gibson told NewsNation on Thursday, EW reports.
“The vehicles were gone, everything. It was completely toasted. I’ve never seen such a complete burn. It’s like someone did it on purpose to really destroy every aspect of it,” he continued.
Gibson lived in the $14.5 million home for almost 15 years before it was destroyed by the Pacific Palisades wildfire, Page Six reports.
“It was home to me, and I had a lot of personal things there that, you know, I can’t get back,” he said. “All kinds of stuff. Everything from photographs to files to, you know, just personal things that I had from over the years, and clothing, and you know, cool stuff.”
