*Candace Owens has sparked international controversy by alleging on X that France and Israel are behind a coordinated assassination plot targeting her.
Owens claims she informed the White House and federal officials of what she says is a credible threat, including details about operatives and international accounts allegedly used to fund the plan. She said the threat involved French and Israeli operatives and warned that journalist Xavier Poussard was also at risk.
In a Nov. 21 post, she wrote, “Two days ago I was contacted by a high-ranking employee of the French Government. After determining this person’s position and proximity to the French couple, I have deemed the information they gave me to be credible enough to share publicly in the event that something happens. In short, this person claims that the Macrons have executed upon and paid for my assassination.”
The married mother of four added, “More specifically, that the green light was given to a small team in National Gendamarie Intervention Group. I am told there is one Israeli that is on this assasination squad and the plans were formalized.”

Owens described the plot as involving both a French woman and an Israeli man, tied to the National Gendarmerie Intervention Group. She also asserted that payments ran through Club des Cent in France, creating a paper trail she encouraged patriots to investigate.
“I do not know who in the American government can be trusted, since this source claims our leaders are aware. But I have more specific information which is definitively verifiable, should they care to reach out to me,” she wrote.
“I would again like to stress that there was a French female assassin but also a male, Israeli assassin that were selected to kill me.These are joint state operations,” Owens posted on Nov. 23.
“I have informed people in the Federal government and the White House of the France and Israeli assassination plot and am willing to provide full details, as well as the name of the assassins and international accounts in France and Canada through which money was exchanged,” she explained.
I am told that payments for assassinations are running through the Club des Cent in France.

The alleged assassination plot comes after French President Emmanuel Macron and his wife, Brigitte, initiated a defamation lawsuit against Owens, claiming her podcast series “Becoming Brigitte” spreads false and damaging allegations.
The Delaware Superior Court lawsuit, which names Owens, her company Candace Owens LLC, and website operator GeorgeTom, Inc., alleges Owens falsely claimed Brigitte was born male, stole another woman’s identity, and transitioned to female. The Macrons assert that these claims are baseless, have caused significant harm, and that Owens ignored repeated retraction requests between December 2024 and July 2025.

The lawsuit includes 22 counts and seeks unspecified damages. According to the filing, Owens acted with reckless disregard for the truth, motivated by fame and profit. The suit emphasizes that the claims are demonstrably false and that Owens was aware they were false when published.
This legal action adds to the ongoing controversy surrounding Owens’ public statements and her allegations of threats against her life, highlighting a tense intersection of social media, international figures, and high-profile legal battles.
