*When justice falters, one woman takes fate into her own hands in Lifetime’s upcoming original thriller “The Widow’s Payback.”
The film stars Teen Choice Award winner and NAACP Image Award nominee Bianca Lawson (“Queen Sugar,” “Rogue,” “The Feast of All Saints”) alongside Kheon Clarke (“SkyMed,” “Riverdale”). Lawson portrays Amanda Bibbs, a devoted wife whose world collapses when her husband is murdered. As the search for his killer stalls and hidden truths emerge, Amanda launches into a perilous mission of vengeance. Determined to uncover the truth, she adopts a false identity and ventures deep into a criminal underworld ruled by Percy “Slide” Daye, played by Clarke.
Infiltrating Slide’s circle and gaining his trust, Amanda balances on the edge of danger in her pursuit of justice. The film draws inspiration from real stories, blending suspense and emotional intensity as Amanda risks everything to expose the man responsible for her husband’s death.

The film is produced by Navid Soofi for PF Oak Productions Inc. in association with Studio TF1 America. Stacy Mandelberg, Tim Johnson, and Meghan Hooper White serve as executive producers. The film is directed by Steve Adelson from a script written by Avery O. Williams.
