Zombies 4: Dawn of the Vampires Sinks Its Teeth Into Disney
*The undead are back—and this time, they’ve got fangs. *Zombies 4: Dawn of the Vampires* premieres July 10, 2025, on Disney Channel and hits Disney+ the following day. The fourth installment in Disney’s hit musical franchise adds new supernatural twists and takes fans deeper into the ever-expanding world of Seabrook.
But this movie’s got more than just vampire drama. It’s got heart, legacy, and some serious behind-the-scenes growth. EURweb associate Kenny Pettus Jr. caught up with stars Milo Manheim (Zed) and Meg Donnelly (Addison) to talk about how far they’ve come, what this film means—and why *Zombies 4* is more than just another monster musical.
Milo and Meg Talk Growth, Legacy, and That Wild First Set
“When we started *Zombies 1*, I didn’t even know if the movie would get made,” Manheim told EURweb. “I was hoping for like two weekends on Disney Channel. That was it.”
“It was my first acting experience,” he added. “I had nothing to compare it to. Now, in *Zombies 4*, we really stepped into leadership roles. We know what people love about this world—and we wanted to elevate that.”

Zed and Addison Mentor New Blood On and Off Screen
In *Zombies 4*, Zed and Addison mentor new characters as vampires and Daywalkers arrive in Seabrook. But that mentor vibe wasn’t just acting.
“There are so many parallels between the characters’ relationships and ours with the cast,” said Manheim. “We didn’t just want to lead—we wanted to be shoulders to lean on.”
“It was really nostalgic,” said Donnelly. “We saw ourselves in the younger cast—same nerves, same excitement. It was like watching our past in real time. Very emotional, actually.”
Despite all the new characters and chaos, the original duo made sure Seabrook still felt like home—for viewers and new castmates alike.
New Songs Bring the Drama and the Bite
*Zombies 4: Dawn of the Vampires* features 13 new tracks, and fans are already vibing with the first two singles. “The Place to Be,” released May 2, sets the tone as Zed and Addison learn about the Daywalkers and their long-standing beef with the Vampires.
Then there’s “Don’t Mess With Us,” dropped on June 13, a fierce anthem packed with attitude and energy. Both songs preview the emotional highs and deep tensions that unfold in Seabrook’s new era of supernatural drama.
And with choreography, high stakes, and heart-pounding beats, the film is ready to dominate playlists and group dance chats everywhere.
From Toronto to New Zealand: A New Location, Same Seabrook Spirit
Unlike its predecessors, *Zombies 4* was filmed in Auckland, New Zealand—not Toronto. But don’t worry, fans—Seabrook still feels like Seabrook.
The change of scenery added cinematic depth and new visual flair to the film’s dramatic, vampire-driven plot. Still, it’s the cast and core message that keep the heart of the franchise beating strong.
As Donnelly put it, “It’s not just about monsters or music. It’s about choosing understanding over fear, always.”
