*Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s multimillion-dollar Netflix partnership is set to expire this September—and the streaming giant reportedly has no plans to renew the $100 million agreement.
Signed in 2020, the exclusive deal gave the couple’s Archewell Productions a platform for documentaries, children’s shows, and other content. Despite a strong start, the relationship appears to have reached a natural conclusion.
“Netflix feels they’ve got all they can from the couple,” a source told The Sun. “There’s no animosity from either side. Things have just run their course.”
Among the projects released under the deal were “Heart of Invictus,” “Live to Lead,” “Polo,” and the lifestyle series “With Love, Meghan.” However, none matched the success of their breakout series “Meghan & Harry,” which became the most-watched documentary debut in Netflix history.
“Netflix were clever in that they got … a lot of viewers for the first documentary series,” a source said. “The content got weaker from there on.”

Despite the overall decline, sources note “With Love, Meghan” still landed in the top 5 percent of Netflix’s 7,500 shows, outperforming “Chef’s Table” and “The Great British Baking Show,” Page Six reports.
As the deal ends, the Sussexes are reportedly exploring a new first-look deal. “There are more TV projects coming soon with both the duke and duchess,” one insider confirmed.
Meanwhile, Meghan has paused her “Confessions of a Female Founder” podcast to focus on her lifestyle brand, As Ever. The second season of “With Love, Meghan” is set to premiere this fall, with News Nation reporting a likely renewal for a third season.
