*Jake Paul is set to clash with WBA lightweight champion Gervonta “Tank” Davis in a highly anticipated boxing match on Nov. 15, 2025, at State Farm Arena in Atlanta, streamed live on Netflix.
Initially in talks to fight Anthony Joshua, Paul now faces Davis after the latter’s planned rematch with Lamont Roach was canceled due to a since-dropped domestic violence arrest in July.
Davis, with an undefeated 30-0-1 record and 28 knockouts, is a formidable opponent, having recently knocked out Ryan Garcia and Frank Martin. Paul, known for bouts against MMA fighters and icons like Floyd Mayweather Jr. and Mike Tyson, brings a 200-pound, 6’1″ frame against Davis’ 135-pound, 5’5½″ stature, with the fight labeled an exhibition due to the weight disparity.
The matchup follows Paul’s controversial unanimous decision win over Mike Tyson in November 2024, which drew 60 million Netflix viewers but sparked backlash.
“I’d be down,” Paul said of Davis at a press conference, adding, “Let’s run it. Like, I’d be super, super down,” while poking fun at Davis’ height. Davis previously criticized Paul, calling him a “whole bozo” on Instagram for his lackluster Tyson performance.

Netflix’s boxing slate remains robust, with Canelo Alvarez facing Terence Crawford on Sept. 13 in Las Vegas, alongside undercard fights featuring Callum Walsh, Christian Mbilli, and Mohammed Alakel. Paul’s bout with Davis is poised to generate massive buzz, rivaling the publicity of his Tyson fight.
Despite the hype, Paul’s boxing skills remain under scrutiny after his Tyson match failed to impress. This upcoming clash with Davis offers Paul a chance to prove himself against a top-tier champion.
