*Atlanta-based rapper T.I. and his wife Tiny, a singer, are not strangers to being accused of sexual assault and battery, etc (see videos below). We bring it up because they’ve been accused again.

The two are the subject of a lawsuit filed by a woman who alleges the couple assaulted her “in or around 2005” after they met at a Los Angeles nightclub.

The woman, only identified as Jane Doe, accuses T.I. and Tiny of drugging her and taking her to a hotel where she was allegedly assaulted. The couple is also being sued for negligence and false imprisonment, reports TMZ.

“On the heels of positivity, negativity always rears its ugly head. This plaintiff has been threatening to file this lawsuit for THREE years,” T.I. and Tiny responded in a joint statement. “For THREE years, we have emphatically and categorically denied these allegations. For THREE years we have maintained our innocence and refused to pay these extortionate demands for things we didn’t do. For THREE years, we’ve maintained the same position while the claims in this story have changed time and time again,” the couple shared.

The couple went on to add that they “look forward to our day in court. Our position is clear… We are innocent of these fake claims, we will not be shaken down.”

Jane Doe’s lawsuit alleges that the Harrises served her a drugged drink at an LA nightclub and took her back to their hotel room, where a nonconsensual sexual encounter ensued while she was incapacitated. The plaintiff said she filed the lawsuit now due to California’s Sexual Abuse and Cover-Up Accountability Act, which opens up a yearlong window for reviving claims that have exceeded the statute of limitations.

“Not only are the claims bogus, but they missed the deadline to file the lawsuit,” T.I. and Tiny’s lawyer told TMZ.

Back in 2021, the Los Angeles Police Department confirmed the musical couple was under investigation, but Los Angeles authorities declined to pursue criminal charges due to the statute of limitations, the NY Daily News noted.

“Without the strengths and weaknesses of the evidence being evaluated, the case is declined due to the expiration,” the district attorney’s office wrote in the charge evaluation.
