*EUR caught up with actor Bobby Del Rio to discuss his role in the new comedy series, “Poly is the New Monogamy.”
Created by and starring Cat Hostick, this series (which premiered in Canada to rave reviews) takes a fresh and humorous look at modern-day relationships through the lives of three young women navigating the complexities of love and connection in New York City. Hostick leads the cast that includes Marianna Phung (Tokens, Y The Last Man), Ann Pirvu (Reign, UNDERCOVER HOLIDAY), and Sasha Barry (Wynnona Earp).
Hostick said previously in a statement, “There is more than one way to be in a relationship and this series is both a love letter and a fresh take on some of our favorite dating sitcoms.”

In our exclusive interview with Del Rio (Daily Drop, Open Source), he shared insights into his character, the show’s unique perspective on dating and girl power, and the excitement surrounding its American debut on Tubi.
Del Rio noted that the series excels at balancing different aspects of femininity, highlighting how many women will resonate with and see themselves reflected in these female characters.
Cat’s mission with the show is to “make people feel less alone,” Del Rio said.
