New York, New Jersey and Baltimore Acts Win Big At 25th Baltimore ULMII National Talent Competition

*New York’s AngelicVoices, New Jersey’s Kah’Ni Rich, and Baltimore’s Anthony Jenson are the top three winners of the 25th annual Baltimore “Uplifting Minds II” Entertainment Conference’s National Talent Competition held virtually this past weekend.

AngelicVoices performed his new Hip-Hop/Gospel single “Who Do You Think You Are” featuring rapper Asim I.I. and won 1st Place. Actress Kah’Ni Rich performed a monolog of the Maya Angelou poem “Still I Rise” winning 2nd Place, and dancer Anthony Jenson performed various Hip-Hop moves winning 3rd Place. All three winners receive the ULMII Award, a cash prize, and over $20,000 in products and services.

Celebrating 25 years, the “ULMII” Entertainment Conference was hosted by Stellar Award-winning radio personality Dr. Doresa Harvey (1500Radio.com) and moderated by ULMII founder Dr. Eunice Moseley (ThePulseofEntertainment.com). The ULMII Entertainment Conference also offered a professional showcase where Pop’s Michele Vreeland (Xyla Records, LLC) performed her latest single “Wild Horses”, and R&B/Soul’s Antoine Dunn (Harvey Marie Records) performed the titled track to his latest album “Everything.”

The ULMII panelists who judged the competition and offered advice/comments during the conference included Michael Ochea, manager of the Hip-Hop Pop/R&B group the MAKO Girls (MAKOGirls.com);  Dr. Kerri Moseley-Hobbs, manager of multi-award winning actor/filmmaker Anthony Michael Hobbs (Anthony-Michael.com); Gregory Goodloe, a #1 Billboard chart-topping Jazz guitarist promoting single “In This Love” (Hip Jazz Records); Aaron Akins, Broadway (Into the Cole) singer/songwriter who is promoting his new single “When Do We Love” featuring Walter and Wallace Scott (The Whispers); Anthony Michael Hobbs, founder of the Imagination Lunchbox International Film Festivals that is celebrating 8 years (ImaginationLunchbox.com), and Travone Toles, music producer and owner of 10Hz Studio in Florida.

The over $20,000 in products and services include contract consultation from Baltimore Consul Paul Gardner, II (TheGardnerLawGroup.com); a music business legal package from Hollywood attorney Richard B. Jefferson (LawyersRock.com); a vocal or acting coaching session from New Jersey Performing Arts Specialist Nadiyah Kareem (Superstar Entertainment); a business or public relations strategy and consult session with strategy/consultant Dr. Eunice Moseley (Freelance Associates, PRSA); recording studio time and a music track from Baltimore music producer V.I.P. (Dust Dem AFF Production), and admission to the Imagination Lunchbox Virtual Open Call Audition Sun Sept 29, 2024 presented in partnership with the Talent Concierge Artists Agency (TCAA) and ReMARKable Productions (TUBI) (ImaginationLunchbox.com). Cash prizes include $500 to 1st place, $250 for 2nd place and $100 for 3rd place winners.
