*Janet Jackson’s brother and manager, Randy Jackson, allegedly lacks the experience necessary to effectively manage her career, according to insiders.
According to Page Six, insiders believe his influence in her decision-making has contributed to the PR crisis regarding an unauthorized apology she issued after her controversial remarks about Vice President Kamala Harris’ race. We reported earlier that The Guardian published the singer’s remarks on Saturday after the interviewer asked Jackson for her thoughts on Harris potentially becoming the first Black woman to serve as U.S. president.
“Well, you know what they supposedly said?” Jackson said. “She’s not Black. That’s what I heard. That she’s Indian.”
The author explained that she corrected Jackson, clarifying that Harris has Indian and Jamaican heritage.
“[Harris’] father’s white,” Jackson replied. “That’s what I was told. I mean, I haven’t watched the news in a few days. I was told that they discovered her father was white.”

After her comments went viral, an unauthorized “apology” was issued by Mo Elmasri, a man claiming to be Janet’s manager. However, Jackson’s representative stated that Elmasri has no affiliation with the superstar.
In an email statement to Yahoo Entertainment, Elmasri claimed to be Janet’s former business manager and that he was fired by Janet and Randy Jackson after he denounced her remarks about Harris.
“The disagreements occurred between me and Janet after she met with the Guardian and her racist and unbalanced statements,” said Elmasri. “As her business manager, I decided to help her reform her image and calm public opinion and her fans. But then she and Randy issued a decision and I was fired,” he added.
Meanwhile, multiple sources told Page Six, “No one [in her camp] knows who he is!”
“It’s completely out of the blue. No one has ever heard of this guy, not any breath of him,” another insider said.
The criticism on social media was swift, with Black liberals condemning Janet and comedian DL Hughley blasted her for sounding like a “Trump rally.” He also took a shot at her plastic surgery.
“It’s a little ironic to question whether someone is black while you’re breathing through the nose of a white woman!” Hughley wrote on X.
According to Janet’s rep, her brother Randy is her manager. Sources indicate that her Harris PR crisis highlights Randy’s lack of experience in managing her affairs.
“How can she sing about ‘Rhythm Nation’ and make comments like that?,” said an insider, per Page Six. “It doesn’t even sound like her.”
“She’s so methodical. I don’t know what made her do this,” the insider added.
The source noted that the superstar singer lives in London, and “doesn’t really watch the news anymore. She does live in a bubble.”
Another source told the outlet, “Janet and Randy’s attitude was to just let it blow over. They weren’t planning to address it.”
“[Randy’s] sabotaging her legacy because he’s not saavy. She’s giving Randy control, and no one understands how he’s managing her when he’s never had a career. She pays for everything,” a tea spiller claimed.
Janet listens to Randy, who is a “Trump supporter and conspiracy theorist,” the source claimed.
“Janet’s bubble is small, and she listens to Randy. She does peddle in conspiracy theories,” the insider added.
Wait! There more. Now Janet’s actions have caught the attention of Roland Martin, whose “Roland Martin Unfiltered” digital show is also going in on her over her comments about VP Harris and it isn’t pretty.
