*”Former ‘Beverly Hills, 90210″ star Ian Ziering is speaking out after being attacked by a mob of urban bikers in Los Angeles on New Year’s Eve.
The wild incident went down on Hollywood Blvd and was caught on camera — see the TMZ video below. The footage shows a group of people on mini-bikes surrounding Ziering’s vehicle. The “Sharknado” star exits the car and gets into a physical altercation with one of the bikers. That’s when other bikers join in, attack, and chase him through busy traffic.
Ziering hit up social media after the attack to inform fans that he and his daughter Mia, 12, were not injured in the altercation.
On X/Twitter, one person wrote, “That’s not a fight, that’s a a gang attacking a single man.”

“Yesterday, I experienced an alarming incident involving a group of individuals on mini bikes,” the actor captioned the clip on Instagram. “While stuck in traffic, my car was approached aggressively by one of these riders leading to an unsettling confrontation. In an attempt to assess any damage I exited my car. This action, unfortunately, escalated into a physical altercation, which I navigated to protect myself.”
Ziering said the confrontation left him “deeply concerned about the growing boldness of such groups who disrupt public safety and peace.”
“This situation highlights a larger issue of hooliganism on our streets and the need for effective law enforcement responses to such behavior,” he continued. “As a citizen and a parent, I find it unacceptable that groups can freely engage in this kind of behavior, causing fear and chaos, while the response from authorities seems insufficient.”
According to TMZ, a police report was filed, and law enforcement is still investigating the incident. No arrests have been made.
“I urge city officials and law enforcement to take decisive action against such lawlessness and provide the necessary resources to prevent future occurrences,” Ziering continued.
