*A new witness in the Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs criminal case claims to possess a manuscript written by Diddy’s late girlfriend, Kim Porter.
According to TMZ, Courtney Burgess says he obtained a copy of the book but Porter’s longtime best friend, Lawanda Lane, insists Kim never wrote a tell-all about her life with the disgraced music mogul.
Lane cared for Kim and Diddy’s twin daughters and was with the model daily until her passing in 2018. TMZ reports that Lane sorted through Porter’s belongings after her death and that a manuscript does not exist. She also maintains that Porter’s family doesn’t know Burgess. His lawyer stated that Burgess had a copy of the book stored on a flash drive and handed it over to federal investigators. Authorities will determine the authenticity of his claims.
TMZ reports that Courtney recently testified before a New York grand, claiming he has sex tapes showing celebrities participating in Diddy’s “freak offs.” Combs made his celebrity guests sign a standard Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) to ensure the privacy of his social gatherings.
As we reported earlier, the NDA is a typical legal document that prevents signees from disclosing any information related to Diddy and those associated with him. It explicitly prohibits attendees from photographing, filming, or recording Diddy or any of his guests without prior written consent.
As EUR’s Fisher Jack wrote, “In addition to prohibiting photographs, the NDA extends further, forbidding attendees from giving interviews, writing books, or disseminating any information about Diddy and his affairs unless they have secured prior written approval from him. Notably, the duration of the NDA is also striking; it lasts for the duration of Diddy’s life plus an additional 20 years, or a total of 70 years, whichever is longer. This extended period is unusual for NDAs and illustrates the proactive stance taken by Diddy and his team to safeguard the integrity of his personal and business affairs.”
Diddy is currently being held in federal custody in Brooklyn after being indicted in September on three criminal charges of racketeering conspiracy, sex trafficking, and transportation to engage in prostitution. He has pleaded not guilty and denied the allegations. If convicted, Combs faces up to life in prison. His trial begins in May 2025.
