*Burna Boy surprised his Atlanta concert audience on Saturday night (03-09-24) with a special guest appearance by music legend Toni Braxton. Together, they captivated the crowd with a performance of Burna’s hit song “Last Last,” causing fans to go wild (scroll down to watch).

Observers couldn’t help but notice Braxton’s excitement on stage, sparking playful comments about her potential longtime dream to perform alongside Burna.

It is interesting to note that “Last Last” cleverly samples Braxton’s popular 2000 track, “He Wasn’t Man Enough.” While Burna’s version reached No. 44 on the Billboard Hot 100 and dominated various music charts, Braxton’s original song peaked at No. 2 and achieved the 10th spot on the 2000 Year-End chart.

Burna’s incorporation of classic R&B elements into his music is evident, as demonstrated by his previous use of a Brandy sample in “Sittin’ On Top Of The World” last year.

Their joint performance showcased the magic of “Last Last,” a song deeply influenced by Braxton’s 2000 hit. It is important to remember that Burna, who is 32 years old, has openly acknowledged Braxton’s significant 60 percent share in royalties from the sample, underscoring his admiration for the Grammy Award-winning artist.
