Mother Accused of Killing Son, 5, Alleges Space Force Is Surveilling Her | Video

*Dejaune Anderson is charged with the murder of her 5-year-old son, discarding his body in a suitcase and dumping it on a dead-end road in Sellersburg, Indiana.

Anderson, who evaded authorities for two years following her son Cairo’s death, was apprehended in March 2024. In court this week, she opted to represent herself and claimed the government and Space Force are surveilling her.

According to TooFab, the boy’s cause of death was determined to be “electrolyte imbalance,” likely caused by a “viral gastroenteritis” or dehydration. Anderson was arrested on charges of murder, neglect of a dependent resulting in death, and obstruction of justice.

During her bond hearing Tuesday, Anderson appeared to be working on her insanity defense by claiming her name was Princess before noting that she was there “representing the entity Dejaune Anderson.”

Anderson informed the judge of her intention to file a motion to represent herself during her trial. When questioned about her comprehension of the responsibilities involved, Anderson replied, “I do understand. I have a master’s in history.”

“That doesn’t give you a law degree,” the judge told her, per TooFab. The accused child killer replied, “But I do understand how to read procedures and understand the court procedures.”

Anderson clarified that her decision wasn’t due to financial constraints but rather her access to “classified evidence” related to other ongoing cases and federal investigations.

When state prosecutors suggested a high amount or no bond at all, citing Anderson’s status as a “fugitive” for two years, she replied, “I object,” and explained why she believed bond was unnecessary.

“The basis of my objection is the fact that I am not a fugitive. I have been under NSA surveillance for the past 8 months and how can that qualify me as a fugitive on the run when I’ve also had a detail from Space Force that was following my every move?” she asked.

Anderson restated her assertion that both the NSA and Space Force are monitoring her 24/7.

“It’s my understanding [officers] have been in touch with almost every one of those agencies and they haven’t been able to identify your location until recently,” the judge told her, before denying bond, TooFab reports. “If Space Force comes forward and tells me they’re willing to monitor you, we’ll take up the issue of bond at a later time,” he added, noting intent to assign a public defender to her case.

Anderson’s friend Dawn Coleman, allegedly helped her dispose of her son’s boy, and for that, she received a 30-year sentence, with five years suspended.

According to NBC, Anderson claimed her son was possessed by a demon and “made reference to an exorcism in regards to her son and using her blood for a ritual also involving him,” TooFab writes.

Days before his body was found, she allegedly wrote, “I have survived the death attacks from my 5-year-old throughout the 5 years he has been alive. I have been able to weaken his powers through our blood. I have his real name and he is 100 years old. Need assistance.”
