*Here comes the Sunday Social Heat! As we reported earlier a brawl in rapper Yo Gotti’s Memphis restaurant ended deadly after a shooting that left two dead and five injured. Now we’ve got footage that shows some of what went down. A crowded section of the Prive restaurant shows 5-8 people in a heated standoff this past Wednesday night (03-29-23). The possible ringleaders, one man in a red jacket and another in blue appear to argue until the man in the red jacket slams into the entire group of men. The man in blue hands his crutches to a nearby woman and all hell breaks loose. Drinks are thrown, chairs are smashed, and punches are thrown amongst the mass. The fight continues outside in the parking lot, where the blue jacket is seen hopping with anticipation. One man had already been gunned down. He then opens fire on a man in black several times as he limps away from the two bodies lifeless on the pavement. The two were pronounced dead by Memphis police and the search for the suspect(s) is still underway. Rapper Yo Gotti was not at his restaurant nor in the city of Memphis at the time of the incident.
GloRilla took to Instagram to vent about being racially profiled. She said it went down at a hotel she recently stayed at, as she was trying to get her Mercedes-Benz out of the valet parking area. The artist went on to explain how the employee didn’t believe that the Mercedes was hers due to the expensive cost of the vehicle and mentioned how there had been recent car break-ins lately.
Former prez, Barack Obama and his production company Higher Ground recently hosted back-to-back dinners earlier this month, inviting a slew of #Oscar winners, nominees, and creative talent. Joining Obama and Higher Ground execs were A-listers, Michae B. Jordan, Ryan Coogler, Regina King, Colman Domingo, and Janelle Monae, to name a few. Apparently, Obama had no specific agenda for the dinners other than to converse with those he and his team are either working with, have relationships with, or are simply fans of for an intimate discussion amongst creatives.
And now for our most important story of the day. ???? A cosmetics and shapewear boutique in Nigeria is going viral over their silicone BBL suit. The company, known as Focallure, has been sharing several videos of their latest shapewear garment — which they’ve dubbed their “JBH realistic silicone butt, hips, and tummy snatcher.” In one post, the company writes, “No need to go under the knife to slay again! ????????Bye Bye to pain and recovery processes. You can now GET YOUR SURGERY BODY IN 2 MINS ????” The company adds that their product ”comes in different skin tones, and comes with a realist belly button, to make it look real so you can wear it with a crop top.” And most importantly, the suit even includes a hole in the groin area “for easy toilet use.”
