*Ex-NFL star Vontae Davis was involved in a DUI-related crash Saturday morning and new photos from the scene show him asleep on the side of a highway.
Two wrecked vehicles can also be seen in the images… taken after Davis drunkenly crashed his Tesla into the back of a Toyota truck in Broward County, Fla, TMZ reports.
You can see in the pics his car is smashed up as is the back of the Toyota.
TMZ writes, “A witness tells us that even as people moved around him — including first responders, a clean-up crew and police — Davis remained fast asleep … until cops woke him up and put him in a squad car.”
In dash cam footage from the Florida Highway Patrol, Davis can hardly stay awake (watch below).
One officer explains that Davis is being arrested for DUI, telling the two-time Pro Bowler “Your eyes are bloodshot. Your speech is slurred. You can barely stay awake. All right? You almost killed somebody.”
Davis admits to the cops that he had been drinking and has no recollection of the car accident.
He was arrested and later released on a $500 bond. Davis reportedly pleaded not guilty to one count of misdemeanor DUI.
