Tristan Thompson Accused of Being a Deadbeat Dad After Praising Khloé Kardashian

*A recent episode of “The Kardashians” shows Khloé Kardashian and her baby daddy Tristan Thompson having a heartfelt conversation about his toxic behavior.  

“The thing that always sticks in my mind is I know how much I care about you, I know how much I love you,” Thompson tells her in the clip below, Complex reports. “You’re my best friend. How come I meet my person—how come I’ve done so many wrong things to them? Why put you through that?”

During her confessional, Kardashian said… “I’m not saying I don’t believe him but I’ve heard this.”

She added, “And of course, it’s angered me before. Because I’m like, ‘If I fucking am, then why would you have treated me this way?’ And how many times? This isn’t like, ‘Oh a one-time thing,’ and here we are.”

The reality star continued, “I’m so proud that I’m able to be kind and mature and show my children that mommy and daddy can coexist and be co-parents, and I’m able to be here for him when he’s in his time of need. Someone that I did not even wanna look at just a couple months ago, I have living under my roof. … I don’t care what you did to me. This is something beyond my pain. My moral compass is saying for me to be a good person and to be supportive when someone is in need.”

Kardashian and Thompson share two kids and she is helping care for his younger brother who has special needs. The NBA star became the sole caregiver of his sibling when their mother died from a heart attack in January.

Thompson has two sons from two separate relationships, six-year-old Prince Oliver and two-year-old Theo. 

The sister of Jordan Craig (mother to Prince) took to social media recently to speak out in response to Khloe’s sister Kim Kardashian gushing about what a great father Tristan is to Khloe’s kids. 

“I know guys are gonna hate me for this and you’re gonna hate us and you’re gonna think Khloe is whatever,” Kim explained in the episode, Page Six reports.

“It’s so crazy because he’s such a good friend and he’s such a good like Dad, but he just couldn’t get it together in that area, of like being a faithful boyfriend,” she added. 

In a lengthy post on social media, Craig’s sister Kai wrote on Instagram, “It has been so hard to refrain from speaking up, and out of respect for my sister’s privacy. I haven’t for over 7 years, but this is just too much.”

She added, “It’s so painful to see how Tristan can find the time to do these nice things for others but can’t seem to show up and be a real parent for my nephew Prince.”

Elsewhere in the latest “Kardashians” episode, Thompson reflected on how kids might one day be embarrassed by his behavior.

“True is understanding stuff and Prince understands things where they go to school and they have classmates. The last thing I ever want them to do is feel embarrassed that I’m their father,” he said.

“I think going down this journey that I’ve been on, especially with losing my mom, I always ask myself, ‘Why do certain things to hurt certain people?'” he added.
