*Donald Trump‘s adult children are taking the witness stand as a part of the Trump organization in his civil fraud case.
It comes as no surprise that all three believe he is innocent. He allegedly inflated the value of his properties and net worth and forged bank documents to get loans. New York State Attorney General Letitia James is suing him for $250 million.
The first to testify, Donald Trump, Jr. said he was not involved in the preparation of any of his father’s business dealings. He made a joke about not dealing with numbers since taking Accounting 101 in college. While under cross-examination by James’ attorney Colleen Faherty, the lawyer for the attorney general, he said he signed off on the documents.
Both Donald Trump, Jr. And Eric Trump are named as co-defendants. Eric testified on Thursday after his brother finished.
Ivanka, who fought the subpoena, is scheduled to appear next Wednesday.
The former president is expected to testify on Monday of next week.
