The Fearless Fund is Under Attack: The Journal of Steffanie Rivers

*Black women are starting businesses more than anybody else in America. That’s despite not getting venture capital investment dollars, bank loans, or contracts comparable to what White business owners with the same experience and expertise get which is why the Fearless Fund is needed. 

Many people say institutional racism is the reason. So when organizations like the Fearless Fund – made up of established Black and Brown business owners – pool money to offer grants, loans, and financial training to Black business startups some White people have a problem with that!

They don’t want to help you. And they despise the fact that you can help yourself.
