*Steve Harvey is ready to clean house and oust the gossipers in his circle for spreading rumors about his marriage.
“Steve’s reached the time of his life and career where he’d love nothing more than to take a step back,” the source told the National Enquirer, Radar Online reports.
“He’s a super hands-on workaholic who’s known to micromanage but swears it’s not by choice,” the tea spiller continued. “The trouble is when he takes his foot off the brakes all hell breaks loose — and this social media debacle is a prime example of that.”
Last month, Harvey responded to cheating rumors about his wife of 16 years, Marjorie Bridges.
According to social media users, Marjorie has been creeping with Harvey’s security guard, Hot New Hip Hop reported. The comedian addressed the gossip during his appearance at the Invest Fest in August.

“I don’t know what y’all doing, but find something else to do, ’cause we fine,” Harvey told the crowd (listen to the audio via the IG clip above). “Lord have mercy. I sure wish I could cuss, though. Sometimes you just wanna respond. But I ain’t got no time for rumors and gossip, man, God been good to me. I’m still shining, I appreciate y’all coming.”
Meanwhile, rumor has it that Marjorie is also having an affair with the family’s chef. Harvey, however, insists the cheating scandal is fake news, according to Radar.
“Steve is ready to hunt down anybody who spreads rumors about him and his family — and send them packing,” the source claimed.
As we reported previously, Nigerian Senator Ned Nwoko reacted to the cheating reports in defense of his friend.
“When we read about our friend Steve Harvey and his lovely wife having issues, we had to contact Him,” Senator Nwoko wrote on social media. “He confirmed that he and his wife are very much okay and it’s all fake news and should be disregarded. The family is happy together and we wish them all the best.”
According to Radar, one insider co-signed his remarks, saying, “Steve’s not about to let any rumors come between him and his wife.”
“He’s going to be wielding the ax and everybody has their head on a swivel,” the source added. “People around him are walking on eggshells.”
