*Shannon Sharpe called out Memphis Grizzlies star Ja Morant for his wild off-court antics.
During a recent “Undisputed” segment, Sharpe addressed allegations that friends of Morant exchanged heated words with Indiana Pacers players following last month’s game and “aggressively confronted” members of the team in the parking lot of the stadium. The situation was so intense that security had to get involved.
Sharpe wants to know why the young athlete is acting like a hoodrat after signing a multi-million dollar contract.
“Ja is a really good basketball player,” Sharpe said. “Ja did everything he could to lift himself and his family out of this type of environment and to get away from this and for some reason he wants to surround himself with these type of people. Why? Bruh, you not hard. That’s not your life. People in that life would give anything to be in your life.”

Per Basketball Network: “Morant arrived and hopped into one of the vehicles, his companions began leaving the area. However, some members of the Pacers’ traveling party inside the bus noticed a red laser being pointed at them from one of the SUVs. Someone in the organization’s security staff claimed it was “100 percent a gun.”
Morant later addressed the incident on Twitter and said the league was investigating the matter.
“[D]id a investigation seen they were cappin,” Morant said Sunday. “[S]till let a article come out to paint this negative image on me & my fam & banned my brother from home games or a year. [U]nbelievable.”
Meanwhile, Sharpe did not hold back his criticism of Morant on “Undisputed.”
“Stop pretending,” Sharpe advised Morant in his rant. “What’ you’re gon’ do is get yourself in trouble, put yourself and your family in harm’s way, when you don’t have to. Just play basketball.”
