*Nicki Minaj is making historical movies with her first No. 1 Gospel song, the Tasha Cobbs-Leonard-assisted single “Blessings.”

According to Vibe, the tune, which is featured on the rapstress’ latest album Pink Friday 2,” topped Billboard’s Hot Gospel Chart, collecting 3.1 million official U.S. streams in the Dec. 8-14 tracking week.

“It also sold 3,000 downloads and arrives atop both Gospel Streaming Songs (where its Leonard’s fifth No. 1 and Minaj’s first) and Gospel Digital Song Sales (marking Leonard’s 10th leader and Minaj’s second),” Billboard reported.

“Blessings” marks the second collaboration between Cobbs-Leonard and Minaj. Their first pairing, Minaj’s first Gospel feature, was on the 2017 track “I’m Getting Ready” from Cobbs-Leonard’s album “Heart. Passion. Pursuit.”

On the secular side, “Pink Friday 2” is bringing another success to Minaj’s record of accomplishment. The album, released on Dec. 8, the rapper’s birthday, took the charts by storm by breaking the record for the most songs on the Hot 100 chart at one time by a female rapper. Out of PF2’s 22 songs, 17 are charting, according to Chart Data.

The 17 charters include “Everybody” featuring Lil Uzi Vert, “Needle” with Drake and “FTCU.” Those tunes join previous “Pink Friday 2” singles “Super Freaky Girl,” which peaked at No. 1 last year, “Red Ruby da Sleeze” at No. 13, and “Last Time I Saw You” at No. 23, Vibe noted.

Minaj’s latest achievement comes amid her breaking a chart record set by one of her inspirations, Foxy Brown. The “Moment 4 Life” entertainer recently surpassed Brown, who previously had the most No. 1 albums on the Billboard 200 by a woman rapper. “Pink Friday 2” gives Minaj three No. 1 albums.

“Umm sir! Only Nic could break tha king[‘s] record,” Brown wrote in support of her “twin.” Not to be outdone, the “I’ll Be” rhyme slinger ended her post with a prediction of tying Minaj’s new record in the coming year.

“3rd #1 record dropping 2024.”

“Hella proud. 26-year record is crazy,” Brown wrote in another post. “Y’all mean to tell me no bi**h broke that sh*t in my absence! Took twin to set tha bar again!”
