*There are some new attractions at Walt Disney World that will percolate your excitement like a first-time park-goer.
EURweb was invited to visit the four Walt Disney Theme Parks to experience the parks as a first-timer and to plan out a vacation experience by navigating a new app that has all the bells and whistles needed to streamline what you’d want to do and MUST do.
Along with my bestie Renee, we had a time seeing the sights and riding attractions as “first-timers.”
And while there is no wrong way to plan a Disney Parks vacation there is an optimum way that makes your trip more magical by offering a customized way to implant your preferences with ease.

Purchasing Theme Park Tickets:Once you’ve settled on your dream resort, the next step is acquiring theme park tickets to unlock the wonders of Walt Disney World. The My Disney Experience app simplifies this process, allowing you to purchase tickets tailored to your desired length of stay. With just a few taps, you can select the number of days you wish to explore the parks, and the app seamlessly handles the transaction. Additionally, the app provides valuable information on special events, park hours, and crowd predictions, enabling you to plan your visit with precision.
What I truly enjoyed was the option to join the virtual queue for select attractions. You can join and literally go about your day enjoying other attractions until it’s your time to shine, so to speak.
And if you want to really save time, bypass the standby queue and sign up for Lightning Lane entrance.
The Lightning Lane is a new system introduced by Disney to enhance the guest experience. It allows visitors to skip the regular lines for certain attractions and instead reserve a time slot to ride using the Lightning Lane entrance. This can help you save time and enjoy more attractions during your visit. It’s worth noting that Lightning Lane access may require an additional fee or be included with certain ticket types or Disney Genie+ service.
The Lightning Lane rides are:
- Tron Lightcycle Run – NEW! – Price between $10 and $12
- Star Wars Rise of the Resistance – Price ranges $15 and $25
- Guardians of the Galaxy Cosmic Rewind – Price ranges from $14 to $17.
- Avatar Flight of Passage – Prices from $11 to $16
- Seven Dwarfs Mine Train – From $10 and $12
And might I add, Disney really has upped the ante on these rides. I have experienced all but the Guardians ride and they are simply mind-blowing. All of the rides are really next-level.
