*The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts will honor Kevin Hart, 44, with its 25th annual Mark Twain Prize for American Humor at a ceremony on March 24, reports The New York Times. Kevin released an official statement expressing his excitement about the prestigious recognition for his contributions to comedy as a comedian, actor, writer, and producer, “To be honored in this commemorative year feels surreal,” he added. “Comedy is my outlet for social commentary and observations on life — I am grateful to the Kennedy Center for recognizing my voice and impact on culture. I can’t wait to celebrate!” Congrats Kev, you’ve been putting in the work!
