*Actor Miguel A. Núñez Jr. recently confirmed that a sequel for the romantic comedy “Juwanna Mann” is in the works.

“We are doing a ‘Juwanna Mann 2,’” Núñez told TMZ.

The plot details have not yet been revealed but the original 2002 movie centered on a pro basketball player who gets suspended and decides to dress up as a woman to join the WNBA. According to Núñez, concerns some may have had over the premise won’t be an issue with the sequel as transgenderism and queer ideology help drive current popular culture.

Núñez expects the WNBA and the LGBTQ+ community to support the second film just as they did the original “Juwanna Mann.”

“Absoutely, 100%. They [supported] the first one, they would definitely do it for this one,” he told TMZ in the video interview above.

Núñez will likely appear in the film in a supporting role, possibly as a coach, he said.

“Draymond Green, I talked to him, he wants to be in it as well,” Núñez noted about the NBA player.

In related news, Marc Spears of ESPN claims Green attempted to support LeBron James earlier this year during a milestone moment.

According to Spears, Green wanted to briefly leave the Warriors’ road trip to watch James become the all-time leading scorer in NBA history on February 7. But Warriors coach Steve Kerr would not allow it.

“Yeah, I was definitely going,” Green told Andscape. “It was a TNT game. I was doing the broadcast and Steve said, ‘I don’t think that’ll be great for our team. While we’re flying out on the road, you’re flying to LA, guys see that, guys see you on the TV calling the game. This is a big game for us against Portland.’ I said, ‘All right, respect. No problem. I’ll be there with my team.’
