Jordan Jones & Simone Jones Give The Scoop on Jazz and Lisa in S2 of ‘Bel-Air’ | WATCH

*In season two of the hit Peacock series “Bel-Air,” fans can expect to get deeper into the backstories of two sub-characters in the reimagined drama, Jazz (Jordan L. Jones) and Lisa (Simone Joy Jones).

EUR talked exclusively with the pair about what they can expect from their characters this season. Jordan stars as Will’s best friend and ride-share driver, Jazz. In the new season, Jazz is expanding his relationship with Hillary (Coco Jones) but not as quickly and publicly to his liking.

Jordan explained, “it’s always extremely cool being the cool guy, but I’m excited about this season because you’ll see little glimpses of me losing my cool. And losing myself because a situation has jaded me. And I think that’s important for viewers to see. Because everybody’s not perfect.”

Jordan also shared that season two gets deeper into the relationship between Jazz and Hillary. The actor said “it’s important for people to see how the connection goes through trials and tribulations. For example, are there certain things you can’t take? Or do you love her so much that you will let certain stuff slide because of your love? And that’s something that everybody goes through, you know, especially in relationships.”

For the character of Lisa, Will and Carlton’s fellow Bel-Air academy classmate and swim star, she’s also both of their ex-girlfriend, she’s headed for a few ups and downs with Will, but for the actress that portrays her, it was important that the character loosened up and had some fun.

Simon Joy Jones said, “I talked with the writers about happiness. I wanted Lisa to smile. Because she’s a grounding presence, she’s a voice of reason. But she also still has to deal with everything thrown her way. So I said I wanted a little fun. So let’s see her relax a little bit. And I think we see that in season two.”

New episodes of “Bel-Air” drop Thursdays on Peacock.
