*Jason Lee is making news on social media today because he’s … Jason Lee. In the court of public opinion, he’s been charged as guilty because he called Jennifer Hudson illiterate!
Here’s the back story. Tuesday morning Lee served as guest host of “The Breakfast Club.” He was reporting on Jeannie Mai’s appearance on the “Jennifer Hudson Show” where she said she was blindsided by Jeezy’s divorce filing. Then, he adlibbed this: “She went on the ‘Jennifer Hudson Show’ because that’s where you go when you want to get your word across…I guess.”
You could hear Charlamagne Tha God seemingly reacting to Jason Lee’s dig by saying, “Damn.” That’s when Jason added, “We all know Jennifer Hudson is illiterate.”

If you’re not familiar, Jason Lee rose to fame when he appeared on 3 seasons of “Love & Hip Hop Hollywood.” Lee, who’s very, very openly gay, brought diversity to the show. It’s said that his time on the show helped open the door for more acceptance of homosexuality in the hip-hop community.
On the other hand, as you can imagine, he’s got tons of haters, mainly due to his very messy behavior.
