*Jada Pinkett Smith broke down in tears during a recent podcast interview as she recalled her first kiss with Tupac Shakur.
During an appearance on “The Diary Of A CEO” podcast, the actress became emotional when shown a picture of herself with Tupac and her late friend Maxine. As SandraRose.com reports, Maxine died by suicide the same year Pac was fatally shot in Las Vegas in 1996.
Pinkett Smith recalled, “‘Pac and I had a hard time understanding why we didn’t have it and I [remember] being on the back of porch of my house and we’re having this discussion I’m like ‘OK ‘Pac just kiss me’”.
In the clip above, she added, “And he kisses me and it’s the most disgusting kiss between us both! I mean he pulled back and I pulled back and I was like ‘see dummy!’”
While Pinkett Smith claims Pac is her “soulmate,” she’s also glad they didn’t date.
“I think physical intimacy can really get in the way and I think that God just made it that way. God was like ‘no I got a plan and that’s not part of the plan.’”
In her new memoir, “Worthy,” Pinkett Smith said she was a young drug dealer in Baltimore when she met Tupac. Rapper Jim Jones wants receipts.
“I knew that anything that I needed was something I needed to provide for,” Jada shared during a recent interview with People magazine. “I decided to sell drugs.”
“Growing up, the drug dealers were the ones that had affluence,” she added. “That’s what we readily saw as success. And so for me, considering my circumstances at the time, my mother was not doing well. She was a high-functioning heroin addict. We didn’t have the things that we should have. The home we lived in was not taken care of.”
On Sunday, Jones took to Instagram to call on the public to find “some fiends that can verify” if Jada was a drug dealer.
“If you sold crack in the nineties, nine times out of ten, there’s still some crackheads in the neighborhood that can vouch that you were selling that butter,” Jones said. “I don’t know where Jada grew up at, but we need to go check and see if they got some fiends that can verify, validify that she was selling that she had that butter on the block for sale.”
50 Cent also hopped on social media to call out the actress. As Complex reports, the rapper/actor posted a screenshot of a news headline that read, “Jada Pinkett Smith reveals she sold a lot of crack as a teenager.”
“Alright enough is enough,” 50 wrote. “Free Will Smith. WTF is going on.”
