CeCe Winans – Believe For It

*There’s so much drama for ya’ mama on the internet for Social Heat, we had to tap out. Grammy-winning gospel singer CeCe Winans had time today and opened up about when Whitney Houston wanted her to be in her “I’m Every Woman” video. Whitney knew she would decline, but since they were friends, she still wanted to extend the invitation. CeCe revealed that it was because the song had the lyric “I can cast a spell.” CeCe said with her entire chest she would not sing it because the song’s lyrics were demonic and could not participate in the project. People in the comment section were heated and felt she was being a holy roller and Bible thumper; others spewed how they hated church folks. The reaction from the peanut gallery is expected, especially when a person goes against culture. Sister in Lord, CeCe, persecution looks good on you; continue to stand boldly for what you believe, stand ten toes down for Jesus, and let these children of the dark flap their gums however they want. Commentor @deejtheegreat posted, “Listen as a believer and someone who loves secular music… WE’RE not ready for this conversation. It’ll cause us to let go of some of the artists we’ve resonated with all our lives. Music feels good.. people don’t shy away from what feels good. But she’s not wrong at all.” The truth hurts, and it will set you free!

Joe Budden called out Michael B. Jordan on his tense interaction with “The Morning Hustle” radio show host Lore’L that went viral. Joe became tight when discussing how MJB handled his old bully on the red carpet. However, fans have pointed out that Joe Budden’s reputation is not pristine for treating women with respect either, pot meet kettle.

Lore’L tried to clear the air and say that she did not bully MJB and that everybody roasted one another when they were kids.

Meanwhile, actress Yvette Nicole Brown entered the group chat and said Lore’L got her comeuppance. Our English professor once said, ‘the butt you kick today will be the butt you kiss tomorrow.’

Lawd ha’ mercy! What do you think about all this mess? Check out the visuals below.
