*Social Heat is kicking off a new week. The feud between Megan Thee Stallion and Carl Crawford, the owner of her label, has been documented throughout social media as there have been posts of them going back and forth over time. However, it seems Carl may be ready to turn over a new leaf while admitting his wrongs in the situation, all while ushering in a new president for his label as they look forward to the future.
Over the weekend, Viola Davis brought home the 2023 NAACP Image Award for Outstanding Actress in a Motion Picture and gave a heartfelt speech to everyone involved in “The Woman King.” The Academy Awards snubbed the film, which is expected when movies depict powerful, defiant Black characters that do not play submissive roles. The NAACP did what needed to be done and gave Viola her flowers.
Angela Bassett embraced the catchphrase from Ariana DeBose, “I guess Angela Bassett did the thing,” when she accepted her Entertainer of the Year Award at the NAACP Image Awards. Angela told Variety she dm’d Ariana to make sure she was okay with all the attention her rap received after the BAFTA Awards.

If we didn’t know any better we’d SWEAR this was a professionally written comedy skit. But it’s not. This is real-life FUNNEE going down. And we mean that literally! Watch what happens when the (Amazon?) delivery guy slips on some ice as he is about to deliver his packages.
