*Rapper Slim Thug is speaking out about the Megan Thee Stallion shooting case following last week’s guilty verdict against Tory Lanez.

The Houston native has pointed out what many have already noted, that Meg initially protected Lanez in the aftermath of the shooting but once he started mocking her on social media, all bets were off.

As EUR reported previously, Meg testified earlier this month that Lanez shot her in July 2020 after an argument in Los Angeles. He was charged with one count each of assault with a semiautomatic firearm and carrying a loaded, unregistered firearm in a vehicle, along with inflicting great bodily injury, per FOX LA. Prosecutors recently added a felony count of discharging a firearm with gross negligence.

On Dec. 23, a Los Angeles jury found Lanez guilty of three charges: assault with a semiautomatic firearm, carrying a loaded unregistered firearm in a vehicle, and discharge of a firearm with gross negligence, according to the LA County DA. Lanez pleaded not guilty in November 2020. On Friday, the jury convicted him on all three counts.

Meanwhile, Slim Thug believes Meg was initially protecting Tory but she later reported the incident to the police because of the way he clowned her — and encouraged his fans to do the same — on social media.

“If he did have anything to do with that sh*t, it shouldn’t have been no beef whatsoever after the sh*t happened. If there was any guilt on his side, he should’ve kissed Meg’s ass,” Slim said, Hip Hop DX reports

“He should’ve been way more humble and try his best to get on her good side. For all the funny shit for the cap app and saying this and saying that and all the funny shit on cap app, who laughing now?”

Slim Thug then took aim at Tory’s short height and noted that the himself would never pull a gun on a woman because he’s 6’6″, so there’s “No way in life will I ever pull out a gun for a situation with a woman,” he said.

Meg explained during her testimony at the trial why she wasn’t immediately forthcoming with police at the scene of the July 2020 shooting.

“At this time we are at the height of police brutality… I felt if I said this man had shot me, they might shoot first and ask questions later,” she said not wanting to endanger Tory. “I don’t feel safe in the car. I don’t feel safe with the police. First of all, in the Black community, in my community, it’s not really acceptable to be cooperating with police officers.”

Tory Lanez faces up to 22 years behind bars. He is set for sentencing next month.
